Construction Equipment Road Service Technician

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking an experienced compact and/or heavy equipment Road Service Technician who can diagnose troubleshoot and repair equipment independently in the field to join the team at our Muncy PA facility. This is a field service role for technicians who enjoy problem-solving variety in their workday and working outside of a shop environment while having the support of an experienced service team behind them. Our Road Service Technicians provide mobile service to customers within an average 100-mile radius of our Muncy location and are supplied with company paid cell phones laptops vehicles fuel and other items necessary to successfully perform off location.

Job Overview:

• Troubleshoot repair service inspect and maintain all types of construction landscape heavy aerial industrial agricultural and fleet equipment.
• Road technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
• Some on-call responsibilities may apply.
• Full-time position averaging 40-50 hours per week.
• Rotating Saturday shift (approx. 1 per month).
• Limited on call commitment (approx. 1 week per month).
• Paid on-line and factory training benefits as well.

Compensation: $28.00 - $38.00/hr. (dependent upon experience)

Requirements:

• Must possess valid Medical Card CDL is not required.
• At least two years experience in comparable markets preferred.
• Must possess strong communication skills interpersonal skills computer skills and strong electrical mechanical abilities.
• Beneficial experience would include DC electrical hydraulic combustion and associated skill sets.
• Ability to work with computers schematics repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
• A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
• Starting pay rate dependent on experience and certifications.
