Construction Equipment Mechanic- FTW, TX

Staff-Up is seeking a Construction Equipment Mechanic for a large construction material business in Fort Worth TX 76106!

Pay Rate: $30 - $34/HR

Job description:

NOTE: MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE!!
This position requires the level of knowledge skills and tools necessary to diagnose and repair all makes of medium & heavy-duty construction equipment. Some duties include removing cleaning repairing reinstalling and adjusting vehicle components including engine components fuel systems and the like.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair construction equipment such as Skid Steers Excavators Curb Saws.
• Must have own tools!
• Inspect and repair forklifts tractors and trailers
• Perform all required maintenance inspections and safety checks as required
• Help service customers with their equipment
• Troubleshoot and submit repair bids to Service Manager
• Perform required Preventive Maintenance (oil change lube filter changes etc.)

Required Education & Experience:

• Ability to read and understand schematics
• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer-assisted troubleshooting experience
• Construction Equipment and vehicle maintenance
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds full use of arms to hands to use tools must be able to climb up and off equipment and be able to see close as well as distant
• Requires a valid and current drivers license
