• Lead the monthly quarterly and year-end close process including financial statements and management reporting.
• OwnconstructionaccountingjobcostingWIPreportingrevenuerecognitionover/underbillingsprojectedcostsandanticipatedmargins.
• PartnerdirectlywithProjectManagersandOperationsoncost-to-completeprojectionsjobforecastsbudget-to-actualperformanceandprojectprofitability.
• Monitorbacklogprojectedrevenuegrossprofitprojectcashflowandoverallfinancialperformance.
• Maintaintheintegrityofthegeneralledgerreconciliationsjournalentriesaccrualsandinternalcontrols.
• LeadannualbudgetingandongoingforecastingwhiledevelopingmeaningfulKPIsandreportingforleadership.
• OverseeAPARbillingcollectionsretainagebankingbondinginsuranceandaudit-relatedrequests.
• Providefinancialinsightaroundequipmentstaffinginvestmentsandotherstrategicbusinessdecisions.
• ManageandsupportonedirectreportresponsibleforAPandpayroll.
• Evaluatecurrentaccountingprocessesandstrategicallyproposeimprovementsthatcreategreaterefficiencyaccountabilityandvisibilityacrosstheorganization.

TheScope

This individual will be the primary accounting owner for an approximately $40M construction operation supported by one AP/payroll company typically manages 3-4 active projects at a time with individual project values ranging from approximately $2M$10M and project durations ranging from six months to two .
