Configuration Management Specialist

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract supporting the Department of State. Responsibilities:

• Provides technical/management leadership for C/CM assessments across global enterprise computing environment

• Establishes enterprise site topology configuration standards and change management processes

• Directs master data management techniques application for configuration baseline reconciliation

• Establishes enterprise logical model framework for all Service Area devices and relationships

• Directs development and maintenance of baseline documentation for all systems and applications

• Establishes Change Management Control Board processes including impact analysis and risk assessment frameworks

• Directs C/CM reporting including metrics on change success rates configuration compliance and baseline drift

• Excels in DevSecOps tooling (e.g. Ansible Terraform SonarQube etc.) and designing and constructing CI/CD pipelines with extensive experience automating CI/CD for continuous build test security validation results collection and success/failure analysis

• Provides technical/management leadership on major assignments establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives and directs activities with overall responsibility for financial management methods and staffing

Qualifications:

Required

• BA/BS 13 years of relevant experience; equivalencies considered

• Active Secret clearance

• Extensive experience leading enterprise Configuration Management (CM) activities across complex IT infrastructure systems applications and services

• Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining configuration baselines Configuration Items (CIs) relationships logical models and enterprise configuration standards

• Experience with CMDB architecture data reconciliation discovery configuration audits and maintaining configuration data accuracy and integrity across large-scale environments

• Experience establishing and managing Change Control/Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes including technical impact analysis risk assessment approval workflows and change validation

• Experience developing configuration management plans policies procedures metrics and reporting including configuration compliance baseline drift and change success/failure analysis

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms and methodologies including integration of Configuration Change Incident Problem and Asset Management processes

• Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC) CI/CD pipelines and configuration automation tools such as Ansible Terraform SonarQube or similar technologies

• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and governance across engineering operations cybersecurity development and program management teams in support of enterprise configuration objectives

Desired

• Prior experience supporting federal agencies especially the Department of State

• Experience supporting large-scale geographically dispersed or global enterprise IT environments

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB Discovery Change Management and/or IT Asset Management

• ITIL ServiceNow DevSecOps configuration management or related professional certification
