Configuration Management Analyst

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Configuration Management Analyst to join our expanding team in Houston TX. Supporting NASA Johnson Space Centers Cargo Mission Operations through Configuration and Change Management. NASAs Cargo Mission Contract provides cargo mission integration to programs such as the International Space Station Orion Human Landing System and Moon Base programs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and/or evaluate and respond to Programmatic and Engineering Change Requests (CR)
• Review and evaluate Program changes for potential impacts
• Process CRs and Change Directives (CDs) assign CR numbers and track/status changes

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in engineering math or science

Required Experience:

• 0-5 years experience in configuration management and/or data management or technical writing

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with version control processes/tools
• Experience with ISS Program Configuration Management Requirements and/or Handbook
• Experience with Orion MPCV Configuration and Data Management Plan
• Experience with HLS Configuration and Data Management Plan

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility and ability to juggle multiple projects

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• U.S. Citizenship is Required
