Job Summary

Overview

Shawmut is pursuing a significant and highly confidential private residential project in Miami Florida. The project involves the redevelopment of approximately 6.4 acres and 75000 square feet of new construction. This exceptionally complex ultra-luxury residence will include five swimming pools six water features extensive landscaping and the highest level of architectural detail finishes and craftsmanship.

Shawmut has been engaged in an intensive preconstruction and planning effort for the past 18 months. The RFP for construction management services was issued on September 18 2026 with proposals due December 4 2026. Although the project has not yet been awarded Shawmut is well positioned to secure the construction phase.

If awarded this will be a rare opportunity to join the team responsible for delivering one of the countrys most distinctive and technically demanding private residences.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will vary by position and level but may include:

  • Support the planning and execution of a large technically complex ultra-luxury residential project.
  • Collaborate with the client design team consultants trade partners and internal project team throughout preconstruction and construction.
  • Manage or support project scope schedule budget procurement logistics quality and safety.
  • Coordinate complex building systems luxury finishes sitework landscaping pools water features and other specialty scopes.
  • Lead or support subcontractor coordination field operations inspections commissioning and project turnover.
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive solutions that protect the projects schedule budget quality and client experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship attention to detail professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to a collaborative accountable and high-performing project culture.
  • Perform additional responsibilities appropriate to the specific position and project needs.
Qualifications

Qualifications will vary by position and level. Successful candidates should possess:

  • Relevant construction experience aligned with the position for which they are being considered.
  • Experience delivering large technically complex and highly detailed construction projects.
  • Experience in ultra-luxury residential high-end hospitality premium interiors or similarly demanding work strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing or coordinating sophisticated finishes complex building systems specialty scopes and multiple trade partners.
  • Strong planning communication problem-solving and relationship-management skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with clients design professionals consultants trade partners and project stakeholders.
  • A commitment to safety quality operational excellence and an exceptional client experience.
  • The judgment and discretion necessary to protect highly confidential project and client information.
  • The ability and willingness to work on-site in Miami for the duration required by the position.
