Conference Services Catering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join our team and help create exceptional events and memorable experiences for our members guests and clients. The Catering Manager is responsible for selling planning coordinating and executing catering and special events while ensuring exceptional service member satisfaction and financial success. This position serves as the primary contact for clients throughout the planning process and works closely with all resort departments to ensure seamless event degree in Hospitality Management Business Marketing or related field of 2 years of catering conference services event planning or hospitality sales experience proficiency and strong organizational written and verbal communication of food and beverage service banquet operations and event to read write and speak English ResponsibilitiesSell coordinate and execute catering events weddings social functions and corporate as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning and execution Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate event details to all operating site tours respond to inquiries and actively pursue new business strong relationships with clients members vendors and internal rental equipment event logistics timelines and special planning meetings and ensure event details are communicated accurately and on event guarantees staffing needs and operational on-site event management to ensure exceptional execution and guest revenue through menu enhancement recommendations upselling opportunities and exceptional client accurate records and utilize department systems to manage event details and client departmental leadership with payroll review staff development and additional responsibilities as RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during to work indoors and outdoors in varying to lift carry and move items up to 50 -Time Position Flexible schedule required including evenings weekends holidays and occasional extended hours based on business needs and event Pay Holiday Pay and Sick PayMedical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchFree Parking and Employee CaféResort Privileges and Employee DiscountsThe Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
