Job Summary
Concrete Finisher-Delaware Valley Paving.
Key Responsibilities
- Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth
- Pour spread and level concrete using rakes shovels and screeds
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools (trowels floats edgers and power trowels)
- Monitor curing process and apply curing compounds as needed
- Cut joints and ensure proper expansion control
- Repair resurface and replace damaged concrete
- Operate basic construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Work collaboratively with crew members foremen and project managers
- Additional tasks as needed to support operations
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license strongly preferred
- 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of concrete mixing pouring and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Experience with hand and power tools used in concrete work
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
