Concrete Coring Technician

Advanced G.P.R. Corp. is actively seeking experienced Concrete Cutting & Coring Operators to join our growing team. We are looking for professionals with proven hands-on experience in concrete coring slab sawing wall sawing and related cutting services.

This is not an entry-level position. We are not hiring trainees at this time. Only candidates with direct concrete cutting and coring experience will be considered.

• Perform concrete core drilling wall sawing slab sawing hand sawing and selective demolition
  

• Operate cutting and coring equipment safely and efficiently
  

• Read and interpret construction drawings plans and specifications
  

• Locate and verify cutting locations before work
  

• Work safely around post-tensioned and reinforced concrete structures
  

• Maintain company equipment and vehicles
  

• Complete required job documentation
  

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  

• Coordinate effectively with project managers contractors and team members
  

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans blueprints and specifications
  

• Precision in executing cuts without damaging reinforcement steel or post-tension cables
  

• Strong mathematical and measurement skills
  

• Experience using measurement tools including calipers micrometers tape measures and related equipment
  

• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities
  

• Dependable reliable and professional attitude
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  

• Proven experience as a Concrete Cutting and Coring Technician
  

• Experience with:
  

  • Hilti core drills
    

  • Merit gas flat saws
    

  • 480V flat saws
    

  • Hilti track saws
    

  • Husqvarna hand tools
    

  • Similar industry equipment
    

• Experience working with:
  

  • Suspended slabs
    

  • Post-tensioned slabs
    

  • Reinforced concrete structures
    

• Understanding of concrete cutting safety procedures
  

• Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations
  

• Valid drivers license
  

• Reliable transportation
  

• Ability to commute to Scottsdale AZ 85251
  

• Willingness to travel occasionally for projects
  

• Ability to lift and operate heavy equipment
  

• Ability to work in outdoor construction environments
  

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background screening
  

Prior to submission candidates must successfully complete recruiter screening for:

• Blueprint interpretation and understanding
  

• Math and measurement proficiency
  

• Knowledge of measurement tools (micrometers calipers etc.)
  

• Basic computer literacy
  

• Grammar and communication proficiency
  

Candidates must provide a clean 36-month driving record (ADOT Motor Vehicle Record).
