Computer Support Technician

We are looking for a Computer Support Technician to maintain and repair computer systems and provide technical assistance to employees.

The Computer Support Technician will maintain analyze troubleshoot and repair computer systems hardware and peripherals. Responsibilities include installing hardware and software supporting user accounts and coordinating with vendors to resolve issues.

• PAY RANGE: $25.00

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights security and systems groups.
• Provide routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software hardware or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service if necessary.
• Install computer hardware software and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• May assist in developing system documentation and procedure manuals as required.
• May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees on software/hardware systems operation.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software hardware and PC operating systems preferred.
