Job Summary

As a computer operator you will be responsible for operating and troubleshoot mail sorting machines other sorting equipment and maintaining equipment ensure success as a computer operator you should have a strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software systems excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work quickly in high-pressure situations. Ultimately a top-class computer operator can set up maintain and troubleshoot operational issues without impeding Responsibilities: Prepares equipment for operations by accessing software in computer terminals to enter commands activate equipment controls and adjust settings to produce quality deliverables efficient production workflow by attentively following procedural instructions and performing duties and troubleshoots issues regarding production processes deadlines and data transmissions across a multiplatform to program error messages by finding and correcting incident logs for all monitored with inventory control practices including identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process and daily workload; properly storing necessary inventory in designated other duties as & Behaviors:Knowledge of modern operating systems networking and MS Office of clerical and reporting attention-to-detail and problem-solving to perform accurately assigned routine operations on various data processing to work in high-pressure to listen effectively and express thoughts and opinions clearly and to work well both alone and in highly structured team written and verbal communications capabilities with good interpersonal be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or Training & Experience:HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of personal computer experience. (required)Some higher education experience or successful completion of related programs in data processing and computer operations. (preferred)Two years of experience in business mailroom print operations and/or mail sorting experience. (preferred)Experience with using loading and maneuvering equipment safely and effectively. (preferred)Qualifications:Candidates who hold an active public trust government clearance are strongly encouraged to who are willing to undergo a background investigation to receive a government clearance will be strongly must be able to work Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm daily.
