Chewy is looking for aCompounding Pharmacy Learning Coordinatorto join our compounding pharmacyteaminPittston PA! The Compounding Pharmacy Learning Coordinator supports the Learning team to constantly improve the learning experience for all job functions within the Compounding Pharmacy. This position hasa high levelof program administration management training coordination and delivery. It includes ongoing development of people and teams and works directly withthe Operations HR Continuous Improvement Safety and Recruiting teams. The Learning Coordinator is expected to set an example for other employees through professional conduct and by safely performing all assigned tasks to predetermined this flexible position the tasks may include training coaching observation documentation and working in all process paths. The incumbent is expected to report any violations of company policy and procedures to management and willbe responsible formaintainingtraining compliance records. This person will be someone who enjoyschangeand getting into the details to drive improvements every single day.
What Youll Do:
Provide feedback of Team Members and processes then provide on-the-job training to meet training needs
Review training and development programs based on the organizational needs in consultation with Learning Area or Operations Manager to ensure all documents are kept accurate and current
Partner with SEALs (trainers) and Pharmacists to maintain consistency of process training
Facilitate learning sessions with all process job roles
Keep up to date with dosage and process changes within the lab
Administrative tasks such as supervising training and preparing printing and organizing learning materials
Maintain daily communication with Manager SEALs Pharmacists Operations HR and other teams
Maintain visibility and proficiency in the lab to identify gaps in the training process and opportunities for improvement.
Engage team members to build and maintain safety as part of the culture
Perform other duties as assigned such as partnering with Pharmacists on process improvement
What Youll Need:
Facilitation / presentation skills
Solid understanding of Compounding in Pharmacy or related field
Be at least 18 years old and have theappropriate licensurein the state of the pharmacy you are working at and other states and credentials as
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals
Mustbe self-motivated and able to operate in a team environment with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Ability to prioritize manage and complete projects with tight deadlines and attention to detail
A high level of professionalism and strong work ethic
Ability to adhere to quality and performance standards by being detail oriented and accurate.
Proven skills for planning daily/weekly tasks and adapting to competing demands
Proficiency in computer usage email MS Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel Outlook)
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Strong skills developing relationships across all levels and functions
Ability to stand for extended periods of time walk up to 2 miles per shift andlift upto 25 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodations
Flexibility toworkvarious schedules including evenings holidays and weekends
Preferred
- Nationally registered Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB orExCPT)
- 2-year degree or equivalent training experience demonstrating proficiency in delivering and documenting training
