Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Performs composite development and experimental prototype fabrication and assembly tasks.

• Constructs troubleshoots calibrates adjusts tests diagnoses and maintains composite-related equipment tooling and prototype components.

• Works from composite lay-up schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions for fabrication.

• Operates specialized fabrication equipment for composite development and experimental builds.

• Conducts experimental builds and tests and reports data in prescribed format.

• Performs calibration and alignment checks on composite equipment and tooling.

• Makes adjustments modifications and replacements to composite equipment as directed.

• Prepares custom resin systems hardeners and curing solutions for composite fabrication.

• Troubleshoots composite-related equipment and prototype components for development.

• Applies knowledge of composite materials and processes for prototype fabrication.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Experience in composite development and experimental prototype fabrication and assembly.

• Ability to construct troubleshoot calibrate adjust test and maintain composite equipment and tooling.

• Ability to work from composite lay-up schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

• Experience operating specialized fabrication equipment for composite development.

• Experience preparing custom resin systems hardeners and curing solutions.

• Experience performing calibration and alignment checks and making adjustments or modifications to equipment.

• Ability to conduct experimental builds and tests and report data in prescribed format.

• Knowledge of composite materials processes and tooling for prototype development.

• Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on composite-related equipment and prototype components.
