POSITION OVERVIEW
The Compliance Specialist IV is responsible for the day-to-day operations monitoring and administrative compliance of the companys 24/7 drug abatement program. This role ensures total alignment with federal regulations and internal corporate policies to minimize operational disruption. The selected candidate will act as a critical operational liaison between regulatory agencies internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and maintain day-to-day compliance with all FAA Part 120 and DOT Part 40 regulations.
Initiate reasonable suspicion post-mishap and pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies.
Serve as a primary point of contact between the company and third-party testing vendors Medical Review Officers (MROs) and Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs).
Maintain detailed employee testing records results and follow-up actions in accordance with regulatory retention requirements.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 testing coverage for post-mishap and reasonable suspicion situations.
Process and approve vendor invoices for testing services ensure accuracy and maintain adequate inventory levels of testing supplies.
