Job Overview/Scope:
Under the direction of the QA Manager the Quality Compliance Manager is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the plants Quality systems to ensure compliance to Kraft Heinz policies regulatory federal and state laws. Assists in the identification and achievement of facility Quality KPIs through appropriate corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Leads all internal and external auditing activities and follow-up. Acts as the Site QCMS/ISO coordinator. Keeps informed on HACCP and net contents changes acts as a resource to ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to. Provides Quality support during major commercialization projects assists in new Quality system program implementations. Reports directly to the Quality Systems Manager and serves as backup to the Quality Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits. Leads audit preparation activities accompanies inspector and completes necessary reports and posting. Performs follow up activities to non-conformances found and provides responses as appropriate. Trains Site on proper inspection procedure practices. Assist in ensuring the facility is inspection ready at all times.
Plans defines and directs the Site auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures and policies to ensure compliance to regulatory federal and local laws. This includes identification of facility Quality KPIs corrective/preventive action and continuous improvement initiatives. Trains and mentors site Auditors to ensure program goals are met.
Manages the onsite laboratory in execution of approved methodologies to ensure timely and accurate reporting of product wet chemistry grading and micro as well as environmental sampling to monitor sanitation effectiveness.
Manages execution of site Food Safety Quality Program (QRMP) and HACCP programs
Participate in the QRMP audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
Oversee and lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.
Accountable for the Safety Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
Acts as the Site QCMS/ISO coordinator. Monitors and maintains plant QCMS program by complying with current Kraft Heinz and ISO Standards. Ensures all internal procedures processes are accurate and performing to expectations. Works with internal auditor(s) and document coordinators(s) to ensure compliance and system improvements.
Provides Quality/Sanitation support for major project commercializations from a regulatory and Kraft Heinz procedural perspective. Periodically audits to ensure appropriate steps forms and approvals are completed.
Manages Quality systems associated with eQCMS and Plant Quality team sites to provide access to corporate links easily. Supports the updating of Quality refresher training (e.g. GMPs allergens hold/release Special Situations) as needed.
Conduit between Plant and Corporate Manufacturing Quality Sector Quality Regulatory. Ensures Quality policies are understood and communicated to Site employees.
In the event that the Quality Manager is not available this individual will act as the quality contact.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance Food Manufacturing or other technical environment.
Bachelors Degree in Food Science or equivalent degree required.
Must be able to work shifts weekends and all required overtime. Prompt and regular attendance. Walk sit stand climb work near moving equipment occasionally lift up to 25lbs operate a computer keyboard/typing communicate in-person and via telephone complete paperwork responsibilities.
Strong leadership technical communication and organizational skills required along with attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of quality systems procedures & policies helpful. Handle multiple assignments develop work plans & prioritize.
Knowledge of statistical processes.
Detailed-oriented.
Effective communication skills (oral written and verbal).
Planning and organizing skills.
Successful candidates must possess a positive focus toward solutions with emphasis on preventative pro-active measures and team-building.
Demonstrate ability to work with cross-functional groups.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$89800.00 - $112200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
