Complex Director of Food & Beverage

SALARY RANGE - $140000 - $170000 DOE. The Complex Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for coordinating supervising and directing all aspects of the F&B departments operations while maintaining profitable F&B outlets and high quality products and service levels. Overseeing both Bardessono Hotel and Spa & Hotel Yountville. The individual is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce associates turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.

Primary Responsibilities

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employees and guests in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Meet food and beverage financial objectives by managing forecast; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Assist F&B Management team in establishing and achieving financial objectives and desire standards of quality food service cleanliness merchandising and promotion.
• Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer service of the outlets and banquets and recommend new methods of improvement.
• Strategically and tactically drive business output and profitability: food and beverage sales guest satisfaction and capture optimization and average check.
• Ensure management presence during each shift to ensure appropriate support for team
• Ensure compliance of all food safety sanitation and HACCP requirements.
• Lead departmental training initiative to ensure compliance with hotels requirement.
• Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing nametags.
• Maximize efforts towards productivity identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
• Be involved in and/or conduct departmental and hotel training (Adaco Nuvola Unifocus)
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
