Completions Tech Spec III - Flammabilityin GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Ideal candidate should have demonstrated expertise in aircraft flammability certification with extensive knowledge of 14 CFR 25.853 compliance material qualification delegated approval authority processes certification planning regulatory interpretation testing and cross-functional leadership supporting aircraft development and certification programs. Test witnessing should include 25.853(a)(c) and (h) 25.856(a) 25.1713(c).
- Ability to develop certification approaches that minimize testing while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- FAA DER AR ODA or equivalent delegated authority experience
- Ability to approve compliance findings independently
- Capability to identify compliance risks early in the design phase and drive resolution before certification testing.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on flammability test failures and developing corrective actions.
- Ability to assess supplier material data qualification packages and manufacturing changes that could impact flammability compliance.
- Understanding how engineering changes affect certified flammability baselines and approval requirements.
- Ability to engage FAA/EASA authorities and resolve ambiguous regulatory requirements.
