THE OPPORTUNITY

Michelin has an immediate opening in for a part-time Competitor Analysis Engineer who will be responsible for establishing and communicating our technological competitive positioning. WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Lead and manage studies on competitor products to establish key product performance metrics
  • Conduct comparative analyses to deduce technological and develop strategies often with other technical experts
  • Actively collaborate with the world-wide Competitor Product Intelligence team
  • Communicate our performance and technical positioning for audiences of varying technical depth

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Minimum bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or engineering domain
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience designing for or scientific analysis of tire performances such as experience in tire design to specifications; rubber formulation for tires to achieve a performance balance; or tire performance engineering in a specialized domain
  • Ability to work autonomously to identify weak signals and opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with different collaborators.
  • Capability to mobilize colleagues experts and ad-hoc teams to solve important multi-disciplinary problems
