Job Summary

Position Summary

The Team Specialist supports the daily operations of Gymkhanas Competitive Team Program by helping provide a positive challenging and organized environment for athletes coaches and families. Working closely with the Team Director this position assists with athlete development coach mentoring program organization and daily operations while helping ensure a consistent high quality experience throughout the program.

The Team Specialist serves as a leader within the Team Program by modeling excellent coaching supporting staff communicating with families and helping athletes reach their individual goals in a safe and encouraging environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead practicesand provide high quality instruction to competitive team athletes.
  • Support the Team Director with the daily operation of the Team Program.
  • Help ensure consistent coaching techniques lesson planning and athlete development throughout the program.
  • Observe practices and provide constructive feedback to coaches when appropriate.
  • Assist with athlete evaluations and progression decisions.
  • Build positive relationships with athletes and families through professional communication.
  • Help maintain attendance records practice organization and team communication.
  • Assist with meet preparation special events clinics and team activities.
  • Ensure all safety standards gym policies and incident reporting procedures are followed.
  • Help maintain a clean organized and safe training environment.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism accountability teamwork and Gymkhanas core values.

Schedule Expectations
  • Minimum 30 hours per week.
  • Will teach a minimum of 25 hours per week.
  • Must be available to work daytime evening and weekend hours including meets and special events as needed.
