A leading international law firm is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising public and private companies on sophisticated executive compensation employee benefits M&A securities and IPO-related matters.

36 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
Experience with equity compensation and executive compensation arrangements
Experience with employment retention and severance agreements
Familiarity with proxy disclosures and public company compensation matters
Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions transactions and IPOs
Strong knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A
Excellent writing analytical and communication skills
Strong academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
