Position: Full-Time Companion / Caregiver

Schedule: Saturday and Sundayapproximately 12-hour days you can stay overnight its more convenient

Salary: $40 per hour

A warm and welcoming private family located in Roslyn NY is looking to hire a compassionate and professional Live-In Companion/Caregiver to provide dedicated care for their 91-year-old mother who resides with one of her daughters. The family values kindness patience discretion and someone who is committed to building a long-term relationship.

Client:91-year-old woman requiring companionship and assistance with activities of daily living.

Home Size: Private residence.

Pets: None.

Household Staff: None.

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility assistance.
• Provide medication reminders and help ensure the prescribed care plan is followed.
• Prepare healthy nutritious meals for both the mother and daughter.
• Drive to medical appointments grocery shopping errands and other outings as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping including laundry organizing tidying and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Support the daughter with caregiving responsibilities and household tasks.
• Monitor the clients well-being and communicate any concerns to the family.
• Provide long-term companionship and support with the opportunity to continue assisting the daughter in the future.

The ideal candidate is compassionate patient dependable and attentive with a genuine passion for caring for seniors. They should be proactive trustworthy and able to work closely with the family while respecting privacy and maintaining professionalism. A calm demeanor excellent communication skills and a nurturing personality are essential. • Prior professional experience caring for elderly clients in a private household or similar setting.
• Excellent references.
• Legal to work in the United States.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving the client and family members to appointments and errands.
• Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals.
• Ability to make a long-term commitment to the family.
