Job Summary
We are seeking a Community Support Professional to play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to be active participants in their working as a Community Support Professional you will assist our clients with community outings. Youll be responsible for transportation to and from community outings planning for future events and supporting our clients to become active and independent members in their community. This position will require the use of your own vehicle. Shifts are Monday through Friday during the day. Weekend and evening hours are available for folks that are interested but not required. What youll need:Must be 18 years or school diploma or GED drivers license and the ability to drive your own -hire Clearances: State Police Criminal Record Check Child Abuse Clearance FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years).Ability to pass CPR/First Aid to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.A typical day-to-day may include:Assisting with community outings to promote skill development and for transportation to and supporting clients during community progress addressing challenges and celebrating as the liaison and contact person for the individual and their family or caregiver regarding scheduling and outings. Documenting services provided and maintaining compliance with youll bring:Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with individuals and families or caregivers.A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them achieve their to be patient empathetic and motivated to support individuals in overcoming to work independently and individually with our clients in the community.
