Job Summary
SEnergy is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Community Engagement and Events Coordinator with experience in event planning and logistics to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience in event planning/logistics and community engagement.
This position is responsible for enhancing SEnergys brand awareness and supporting business growth through the successful planning and execution of events sponsorships and community engagement activities that create positive experiences for Clients employees and key stakeholders.
This position is located in our Boerne office and will require some travel for events and conferences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The principal duties and responsibilities of the Community Engagement & Events Coordinatorconsist of but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and execute external events including conferences client events community outreach workforce development events golf tournaments volunteer activities and business development functions.
- Manage conference registrations lodging sponsorships and event logistics in accordance with approved plans and budgets.
- Serve as the primary contact for event organizers and coordinate event details collateral needs and internal communications.
- Partner with Marketing Business Development and HR to support all events recruiting efforts workforce development programs and community initiatives.
- Assist with press release preparation related to awards sponsorships community involvement and company achievements.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations educational institutions workforce development partners and nonprofit groups.
- Identify and coordinate community engagement sponsorship charitable giving and volunteer opportunities that align with company goals for all SEnergy locations.
- Maintain annual calendars for conferences sponsorships community events volunteer activities and award submission deadlines.
- Research track and coordinate industry and business award submissions.
- Support event planning meetings and ensure successful execution of marketing and community engagement activities.
- Serve as a brand ambassador at events and within the community to enhance company visibility and reputation.
- Provide administrative support for the marketing team including inventory management of promotional items marketing materials trade show assets and branded apparel.
- Attend community events and trade specific events as required by Marketing Manager and Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in Events and Sponsorships
- Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional computer skills with emphasis on project management spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Strong skills of time management organizational and multi-tasking.
- This position requires the ability to listen and hear good eyesight sitting standing walking and use of hands and arms.
