Community Corrections is now hiringforaCommunity Corrections Case Monitor!
Community Corrections Case Monitorsprovide basic administrative case management support to certified Probation and Parole Officers. Duties include assisting in completingjustice-involved individuals (JIIs)intakes by pre-screening and conducting basicinitialinterviews as JIIs are referred to the department for supervision or pre-sentence investigation; recording and updating basic social history information in database records; and processing routine transactions and requests for information.

About theDepartment/Division:
Washington County Community Corrections servesan important rolein keeping our community safe. Community Corrections supervises approximately 3000 Adults on Supervision (AOS) using a range of evidence-based strategies while working in partnership with the courts policing agencies the State Board of Parole and the Department of Corrections. The Probation and Parole division works to prevent recidivism of crime by providing client-centered community supervision and by connecting them to the resources they need to make long-term behavior change.

Education and Experience:
ABachelorsdegree in Corrections Criminal Justice Counseling Social Services or a related field can substitute for the required experience.
AnAssociatedegree in Corrections Criminal Justice Counseling Social Services or a related fieldANDone (1) year of experience in corrections criminal justice counseling or a related social services field.OR
Three (3) years of experience in corrections criminal justice or counseling ofadult justiceinvolved individuals or a related social services field.OR
Additional Requirements
Must pass a post-offer comprehensive background investigation.
MustacquireandmaintainCPR and first aid certification.
Must pass a post-offer psychological assessment prior to appointment.
The position requires routine contact with JIIs on probation parole or post-sentence supervision.
