Community Care Worker (Non Certified)

We are looking for experienced and dedicated Domestic Assistance Community Support Worker to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home domestic support services to our valued CHSP customers. For this role you will need previous experience in Domestic Assistance/ Cleaning. We are also looking for someone who lives locally or willing to travel to Campbelltown & Camden area.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation

• Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments

• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:

• Caring compassionate & friendly

• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

• Reliable & dependable

• Ability to build rapport & good working relationships

• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check

• Proof of Vaccination(where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate

• Current First Aid certificate/CPR

• Current Australian Drivers License

• Reliable registered and insured vehicle

• Smart phone with internet access

• Current Working with Children Check (preferred)
