If so Student Health and Wellness with Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Communications Specialist II!

What Youll Do:

• Create and manage photo and video content for marketing communications and digital platforms.

• Plan produce and edit multimedia projects from concept through final delivery.

• Provide media coverage of events programs and campus activities.

• Develop schedule and manage content across social media platforms.

• Maintain content calendars and support strategic marketing campaigns.

• Monitor audience engagement and foster online community growth.

• Analyze performance metrics and recommend communication improvements.

• Design and produce digital and print marketing materials.

• Review and edit communications content for accuracy consistency and brand alignment.

• Build update and maintain department websites and web content.

• Ensure communications and websites meet accessibility and branding standards.

• Collaborate with campus partners to support marketing outreach and communication initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign Photoshop Lightroom Premiere Pro and related editing and graphic design software.

• Experience with website design and maintenance using Drupal.

• Experience managing and planning content for social media accounts.

• Experience with marketing analytics.

• Familiarity with health and wellness concepts and experience supporting related programs services or communications.

About Student Health and Wellness:
Part of the Division of Student Affairs the Student Health and Wellness unit consists of four departments:Recreation ServicesStudent Counseling ServicesStudent Wellness and theThielen Student Health Center.
