Our client is seeking an initiative-taking passionate and driven Commissioning (Cx) Engineer to join their Commissioning (Cx) Team. This is an opportunity to accelerate your career alongside some of the industrys leading commissioning providers working across all phases of a project from design reviews and controls design to site observation and system testing.
You will manage commissioning projects for a diverse client base including education and research institutions and healthcare providers spanning project types from office buildings to laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of commissioning projects including design review controls design site observation and functional performance/system testing
Manage commissioning efforts across a range of project types (office buildings laboratories healthcare facilities and more)
Work directly with clients in education research and healthcare sectors
Navigate active construction sites to observe and verify system performance
Collaborate with project teams to deliver premium high-quality service
Apply knowledge of energy codes and commissioning standards to ensure high-performance building outcomes
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer MEP Consultant or Design Engineer
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Commissioning Certification is a plus
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Review
Excellent communication planning and execution skills
Working knowledge of California Energy Code and ASHRAE Commissioning and energy-related guidelines and standards
Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and navigate active construction sites with confidence
A genuine passion for sustainability high-performance buildings and continuous learning
