Position Title

Commercial Tire Service Technician

The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for the inspection repair replacement mounting balancing and servicing of commercial truck industrial agricultural and off-the-road tires. This position requires safe operation of service vehicles and equipment while delivering exceptional customer service both in-shop and on roadside service calls.

• Perform tire mounting dismounting balancing rotating and repairs on commercial vehicles and equipment
  
• Conduct roadside service calls in a safe professional and timely manner
  
• Inspect tires wheels and related components for wear damage and proper inflation
  
• Operate service trucks and equipment safely and in compliance with company and DOT regulations
  
• Complete work orders service documentation and customer signatures accurately
  
• Maintain clean and organized work areas service trucks and equipment
  
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers managers and customers regarding service needs and job status
  
• Assist with inventory control and proper handling of tires and materials
  
• Participate in after-hours emergency roadside service rotation as required
  
• Promote a positive company image through professionalism and customer service
  

Qualifications

• Previous tire service or mechanical experience preferred but willing to train motivated candidates
  
• Valid drivers license required; commercial drivers license (CDL) is a plus
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  
• Ability to read and complete work orders and service paperwork accurately
  
• Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift carry push and pull heavy tires and equipment regularly
  
• Ability to stand bend kneel and work in various weather conditions for extended periods
  
• Ability to safely operate jacks air tools compressors and heavy equipment
  
• Must be able to respond to roadside service calls at various times including nights and weekends if required
