Our client an established manufacturer serving the construction industry is seeking a Commercial Market Manager to expand its presence across key commercial markets.
This role combines new customer development specification influence market strategy and commercial leadership. The successful candidate will identify growth opportunities develop relationships across the construction ecosystem and help turn market demand into profitable revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop new customers projects and market opportunities
- Build relationships with architects engineers contractors distributors and other industry stakeholders
- Drive specifications product awareness and customer adoption
- Prospect and develop opportunities from initial contact through the sales cycle
- Develop market and account growth strategies
- Support pricing forecasting pipeline and margin objectives
- Identify market trends competitive activity and emerging applications
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers
- Collaborate with internal sales technical operations and marketing teams
- Conduct customer presentations training and industry outreach
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial sales market development specification sales or related experience
- Building materials architectural products construction products insulation coatings or related industry experience
- Proven success developing new business and expanding market share
- Strong relationships or experience working with architects engineers contractors distributors or similar stakeholders
- Strong prospecting presentation and relationship-development skills
- Technical aptitude and comfort discussing construction applications
- Pricing forecasting margin or broader financial experience preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 25-30% travel

Compensation:$125000$150000 (DOE) base 15% bonus
