Commercial Maintenance Technician

Location: Tysons Corner VA
Shiftt: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys variety in your workday Were looking for a Commercial Maintenance Technician to support multiple commercial properties throughout the local area. Youll be provided with a company vehicle tools and technology to perform preventive maintenance repairs and facility improvements while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Perform preventative corrective and predictive maintenance on commercial facilities.

• Complete work orders involving plumbing electrical carpentry painting roofing HVAC and general building maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment.

• Repair drywall doors walls ceilings flooring and other building components.

• Perform minor plumbing repairs including toilets faucets flush valves and fixtures.

• Complete basic electrical repairs such as replacing switches outlets lighting fixtures ballasts and bulbs where permitted.

• Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.

• Use a tablet or smartphone to manage work orders document repairs submit reports and record completed work.

• Communicate professionally with customers while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.

• Assist with project estimates and additional maintenance requests as needed.

• 25 years of commercial building maintenance experience.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades.

• Experience with basic plumbing electrical carpentry painting and general facility repairs.

• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and building mechanical equipment.

• Comfortable using mobile technology tablets and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service calls.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certifications are a plus.

• Commercial facilities maintenance experience preferred.
