A highly respected AmLaw firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Orlando office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated business litigation matters within a collaborative and nationally recognized litigation platform.
The firm is seeking a motivated well-rounded associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on substantive responsibility while working closely with partners and clients.
Associates in this position will work on a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts including:
- Managing written and document discovery
- Researching and drafting pleadings motions and court filings
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses for testimony
- Appearing for status conferences and hearings
- Arguing motions in state and federal court
- Assisting with trial preparation and settlement strategy
Experience participating in settlement conferences negotiations and trial preparation is strongly preferred.
- 24 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Experience handling sophisticated business disputes in state and federal courts
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a busy collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active Florida Bar admission and good standing required
- Sophisticated national litigation platform
- High-level commercial litigation matters
- Significant hands-on experience and client interaction

- Strong long-term growth potential within a nationally recognized practice
Compensation: $240000$290000 DOE
