A premier national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Houston office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing Fortune 500 companies financial institutions energy companies and other sophisticated clients in high-stakes business disputes.

3 years of commercial litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

Experience handling complex business disputes including breach of contract business torts fiduciary duty claims partnership and shareholder disputes fraud trade secret litigation and other commercial matters

Experience representing corporations financial institutions private equity sponsors energy companies and other business clients

Experience handling all phases of litigation including case strategy drafting pleadings dispositive motions discovery depositions hearings arbitrations mediations and trial preparation

Experience litigating matters involving complex financial structures strategic transactions and commercial business relationships is preferred

Strong legal research writing analytical negotiation and oral advocacy skills

Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction

Experience in state and federal courts is preferred

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nationally recognized Commercial Litigation practice
