Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings motions briefs and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and support litigation strategy
- Manage discovery document review and e-discovery processes
- Assist with depositions hearings mediations and trial preparation
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients on case development and strategy
Qualifications
- 210 years of commercial or business litigation experience
- Strong legal writing analytical and advocacy skills
- Experience with motion practice discovery pleadings and trial prep
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New York State Bar is required
Preferred Background
Experience in complex commercial litigation business disputes shareholder disputes contract litigation or financial litigation is highly valued.
