Commercial Lines Account Manager

Seeking an experiencedCommercial Lines Account Managerto manage a book of commercial insurance accounts build client relationships provide exceptional service and ensure account retention and growth. The role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong communication and organizational skills as well as a deep understanding of the commercial insurance industry.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial clients.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts addressing client needs effectively.
• Develop renewal strategies prepare quotes and negotiate terms with carriers.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and provide guidance on policy coverage changes and claims processes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and insurance carriers to deliver customized solutions.
• Identify and address potential gaps in clients coverage or areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using agency management systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends new products and risks affecting clients.

• Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance sector.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and underwriting principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Problem-solving abilities focused on delivering client-centric solutions.
• Bachelors degree in business finance or a related field is preferred but not required.
