Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focusedCommercial Lines Account Managerto join a team. This role will serve as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients. Responsibilities include retaining and developing client relationships ensuring a seamless experience and delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have a proactive attitude excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding service.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing inquiries and delivering service in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with producers and underwriters to design and implement customized insurance solutions for business clients.
- Review and update client accounts to ensure appropriate coverage recommending changes as needed.
- Assist with client renewals endorsements and mid-term policy adjustments ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products and services that align with clients requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals coverage summaries and policy documentation.
- Keep up to date with industry trends market conditions and changes in insurance policies and regulations.
- Ensure all documentation communication and transactions comply with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings training opportunities and professional development initiatives.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager preferably in commercial lines or the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverage and industry regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and goal-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using insurance-related software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.).
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in business finance or a related field is a plus.
