Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to the Commercial Lending Team. Acts as a liaison between the Commercial Loan Officer(s) and clients vendors/third-party providers bank management and other internal personnel while establishing relationships with those representing diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Assists the Commercial Loan Officer(s) with the daily management of a commercial loan portfolio. Duties and responsibilities will include daily interaction with existing and potential clients responding to inquiries providing general loan information obtaining loan documentation information loan file creation and maintenance and assisting Officers with the review of commercial overdrafts exception report monitoring exception clearing and a variety of tasks associated with the origination and servicing of loans.
Assembles and reviews loan documents for accuracy and compliance prior to execution. Takes initiative in problem resolution and engages others when needed to address inconsistencies.
Closes loans ensuring that loan files contain documents with proper approvals signatures dates and other relevant data prior to funding.
Processes loan advances and pay-downs account and wire transfers
Serves as the primary client contact for loan administration issues.
May prepare reports invoices memos letters and other documents. Conducts research and compiles data for statistical reports as needed.
Keeps up-to-date on all laws and regulations completes necessary training to maintain compliance and follows bank processes and procedures.
Supports the banks strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact quality customer service and superior product knowledge.
Other duties or projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent typing word processing and data entry/ten-key skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically in the use of Word and Excel. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Adobe.
Must be willing and able to learn other lending-related programs and software.
Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
Must be detail oriented organized and remain calm under pressure. Must work well under stress and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
Must be able to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to take direction work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
Must demonstrate responsible use of personal credit.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent some college preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in a banking or credit environment required.
