• Diagnose service repair and maintain commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
  
  
• Service equipment including chillers boilers rooftop units package units split systems pumps hydronic systems controls and related commercial HVAC equipment
  
  
• Troubleshoot electrical mechanical refrigerant airflow and control-related problems
  
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment problems before they lead to breakdowns
  
  
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams equipment specifications schematics and technical documentation
  
  
• Accurately determine equipment condition and recommend appropriate repairs or corrective actions
  
  
• Verify proper system operation after repairs and maintenance are completed
  
  
• Clearly communicate equipment condition repair needs and recommendations with customers and company personnel
  
  
• Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
  
  
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
  
  
• Follow company and industry safety procedures at all times
  
  
• Maintain company tools equipment and service vehicle in professional condition
  
  
• Represent Simmons professionally at every customer location
  
  
• Participate in on-call or after-hours service rotation as required
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  
• Prior successful experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician
  
  
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  
  
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment
  
  
• Chiller and/or boiler experience strongly preferred
  
  
• EPA certification required

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation
  
  
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
  
  
• Ability to work independently and make sound diagnostic decisions in the field
  
  
• Strong communication and customer service skills
  
  
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  
  
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
  
  
• Must be safety-conscious dependable and professional
