A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Commercial Finance Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing institutional lenders private equity firms finance companies investors and developers in sophisticated commercial finance transactions.

36 years of commercial finance banking or transactional experience

Experience representing commercial banks finance companies private equity firms institutional lenders investors developers or other financial institutions

Experience handling complex finance transactions including syndicated credit facilities and portfolio transactions

Strong understanding and working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC and the Bankruptcy Code in all phases of commercial finance transactions

Experience with workouts restructurings mergers & acquisitions and/or private equity transactions is a plus

Strong drafting negotiation analytical and communication skills

Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills required

Ability to thrive in a collegial entrepreneurial environment

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Minnesota bar admission required or ability to become admitted
