The Opportunity

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced CommercialContracts Attorney to support its legal team. This is a fully remote part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is $100$115 per hour plus benefits.

Primary Duties

This CommercialContracts Attorney will focus on drafting reviewing negotiating and managing a variety of commercial and operational agreements while partnering with internal business teams to provide practical legal guidance and manage risk.

Additional duties include the following:

• Draft review negotiate and manage commercial agreements including NDAs MSAs SOWs consulting and professional services agreements vendor and supplier contracts SaaS/software agreements data-related agreements distribution agreements licensing agreements and procurement contracts
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation risk allocation and compliance requirements
• Identify legal regulatory operational and commercial risks
• Partner with Procurement Finance IT Facilities Compliance and other business teams
• Provide practical business-focused legal advice in a highly regulated environment

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 58 years of legal experience including significant commercial contracting experience
• Strong drafting negotiation and issue-spotting skills
• Ability to independently manage a high volume of complex agreements and competing priorities
• Strong business judgment communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience in the pharmaceutical biotechnology medical device healthcare or another highly regulated industry is preferred
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments healthcare compliance privacy and data protection technology matters and pharmaceutical industry contracting practices is also desirable
