What Youll Do as a Commercial Construction Project Manager

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout keeping work moving forward safely efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients architects engineers subcontractors suppliers and internal team members to keep projects aligned and communication clear.
• Manage project budgets schedules change orders and financial performance to deliver successful outcomes.
• Review plans specifications subcontractor proposals RFIs and submittals to ensure accuracy compliance and constructability.
• Build strong relationships with clients subcontractors and project partners by providing proactive communication and dependable leadership throughout each project.
• Oversee permitting inspections and regulatory requirements to keep projects progressing without unnecessary delays.
• Guide Assistant Project Managers Superintendents and field teams by providing direction resolving challenges and supporting successful project execution.
• Champion Funk Constructions commitment to quality teamwork and building projects that make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Our Ideal Commercial Construction Project Manager

• Experienced: At least 3 years of project management experience in commercial or residential construction with a proven ability to successfully manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Communicator: Build strong lasting relationships through clear communication with clients subcontractors design professionals and internal team members.
• Organized: Balance multiple priorities while managing budgets schedules documentation and project details with accuracy and efficiency.
• Problem Solver: Take a proactive approach to overcoming challenges making sound decisions and keeping projects moving forward.
• Technically Proficient: Be comfortable using Microsoft Office especially Excel with experience in Bluebeam Procore CMiC or similar construction management software considered a plus.
• Team-Oriented: Thrive in a collaborative environment where helping teammates serving clients well and building projects that strengthen our communities are just as important as delivering successful results.
