Commercial Banking Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in gathering organizing and reviewing client financial information including financial statements and credit reports

Perform basic financial analysis such as ratio calculations and trend reviews under guidance

Support preparation of loan review materials and credit presentations

Help collect track and organize documentation for loan files renewals and annual reviews

Maintain and update financial tracking systems and internal databases

Conduct basic company and industry research to support lending and sales efforts

Assist with updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate client records

Support credit monitoring activities by tracking portfolio data and identifying potential risk items

Help compile and prepare internal reports on loan portfolio performance and trends

Perform routine data entry and processing tasks across credit and operations systems

Generate simple reports using Excel or internal tools

Assist with document management file organization and recordkeeping (digital and physical)

Provide general administrative support such as formatting documents scheduling and workflow tracking

Contribute to process improvements and support overall team efficiency

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset with an interest in financial data
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
