Experienced Collision Repair Technician

Ford of El Paso Collision Center

Ford of El Paso is growing and were looking for an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our expanding collision center. Responsibilities

  • Perform complete collision repairs according to OEM and manufacturer specifications.
  • Repair both heavy structural damage and light-to-moderate cosmetic damage.
  • Perform frame structural panel replacement body alignment and metal repair work.
  • Review repair estimates and verify correct parts before beginning repairs.
  • Identify and document supplemental damage and communicate additional repair needs.
  • Maintain repair quality while meeting productivity goals.
  • Work closely with estimators painters and fellow technicians to ensure efficient vehicle completion.
  • Follow all manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work area.
  • Properly use all required personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of professional collision repair experience
  • Ability to immediately contribute in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience performing both structural and non-structural collision repairs
  • Strong frame repair and metal finishing skills
  • Experience interpreting repair estimates and OEM repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • I-CAR Certifications including:
    • Steel Welding
    • Aluminum Welding
    • Steel Sectioning
  • ASE Collision certifications are a plus
  • Experience working in OEM-certified collision centers
