As part of the Analyst track youll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out Vanguards College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive hands-on experience at one of the worlds leading investment firms. Extensive training real-world experience hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. Youll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!

In this internship you will:

  • Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors

  • Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success

  • Gain hands-on experience in security strategy risk mitigation and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologies

  • Share your insights anddrive outcomes individually and in collaborativesupportive environments

  • Build a network with program managers alumni senior leaders and peers

  • Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship

What it takes

  • In pursuit of a bachelors or masters degree with a concentration in computer science computer engineering IST IT CIS Security Risk Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required

  • Strong interest in security/threat analysis fraud mitigation and reporting

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations

  • Effective analytical communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
