College to Corporate Internship Finance

In our College to Corporate Finance Internship youll collaborate alongside a team of premier finance professionals at Vanguard to help strengthen our companys future. Take a deep dive into an internship role within finance at a company thats changing the way people investand make it count!

In this internship program you will:

• Immerse yourself in an internship assignment within a key corporate finance function at one of the worlds leading investment management companies with opportunities in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis Internal Audit Fund Analysis & Operations or Finance Technology.
• Lead an assignment within the Finance function that deepens your knowledge in areas such as fiscal planning financial modeling financial performance reporting risk management mutual fund accounting and operations or supporting Finance shared services teams (e.g. Finance Technology or Corporate Real Estate).
• Meet regularly with your department manager internship program manager and others to receive personalized coaching and mentorship.
• Cultivate relationships within a fast-growing network of dedicated professionals committed to doing whats right for the investor.
• Deliver strategic insights and identify opportunities that directly impact our business and ultimately our clients.

Upon successful completion of the program you will have the opportunity to apply for a full-time position in one of Vanguards rotational programs. These roles are designed to provide continued broad-based experience before launching into a specialized career path.

What it takes

• Passion for finance and an interest in enabling critical internal functions within an organization.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.
• All majors are considered; majors in finance accounting economics mathematics data analytics or statistics are preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
• Professional presence and demeanor when working with colleagues and leadership.
• Adaptability with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
• Strong communication analytical leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Special Factors

• At this time Vanguard is only considering candidates that will not now or in the future need sponsorship or other immigration support to obtain US work authorization
• This program is a full-time paid summer internship
• The start date for this program will be June 2027
• Acceptance into the program is contingent upon a successful drug-screening result
