St. Mary Catholic Central a Catholic college-preparatory high school committed to academic excellence faith formation and student success is seeking a dedicated student-centered College Counselor to join our staff. The College Counselor will guide students and families through the college search application and decision-making process while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about college admissions passionate about working with adolescents and committed to helping students discern their academic and personal goals in a faith-filled environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Counseling Education or a related field preferred
Previous experience in college counseling school counseling admissions or secondary education preferred
Knowledge of college admissions processes and trends
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students families faculty and college representatives
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
