Coding Operations Coordinator

Pay range:

-

• High school graduate or equivalent GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• One of the following certifications is required: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
• Five (5) years of coding experience in a hospital coding setting required. Prior experience with Epic desired.
• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM ICD-10-PCS CPT-4 CCI and OCE Edits required.
• Knowledge of principles of information management to effectively analyze data solve problems and make decisions.
• Training and presentation skills required.
• Ability to collaborate build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Exceptional skill and ability in using verbal and written communications to influence organizational leaders
• Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects and issues.
• Detail oriented; Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate innovative and critical thinking skills
