We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Special Magistrate Clerk to join our team of professionals. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of municipal Code Enforcement processes and administrative procedures.
Working knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law public records requirements and quasi-judicial hearing procedures is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel Outlook and document management systems.
Ability to learn municipal software applications and case management systems.
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers municipal staff elected officials and the public.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in Business Administration Public Administration Legal Studies or a related field is preferred.
Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience preferably in a municipal government Code Enforcement legal or court environment.
Experience supporting public meetings hearings or board proceedings is preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
