Job Summary
City Nights Hospitality owner and operator of the award-winning Ascent Lounge is seeking a Cocktail Server with polished professionalism and exceptional people skills to join our hospitality team.
If you are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced upscale environment we would love to meet you. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and naturally create a welcoming and elevated guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests with warmth confidence and professionalism
Provide attentive table service in an upscale lounge and event environment
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve cocktails wine champagne spirits and food items in a polished manner
Maintain clean organized and properly set tables throughout service
Communicate with management bartenders hosts and support staff throughout the shift
Anticipate guest needs and help ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience
Build positive relationships with guests including regulars and VIP clientele
Assist with setup service and breakdown for private events as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong communication and people skills
Outgoing confident and well-presented
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Prior server cocktail server restaurant lounge hotel nightlife or event experience is preferred
Knowledge of cocktails wine champagne and elevated service standards is a plus
We are open to individuals with great personality energy and willingness to learn
Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays
COMPENSATION:
- Regular Service Hourly Rate (Tipped Minimum Wage): $11.35/hour plus a $5.65/hour tip credit in accordance with New York tipped employee wage requirements
- Private Event Party Pay Rate: $40.00/hour
