CO – RRT Nights

SHIFT: 36 hours per week Sunday-Tuesday night with every other Wednesday night added. Hours are 6 pm to 6:30 am to include some call and weekends and and/or EXPERIENCECertification or registry from college or technical Respiratory Therapy Technician or Registered Respiratory years experience is LICENSES REGISTRATIONSMust maintain current active license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of BLS ACLS PALS and NRP requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY1. Performs and collects diagnostic information to include:a. Pulmonary Function testingb. Pad Netc. Sleep studiesd. Noninvasive and invasive diagnostic procedurese. Blood gas and other pertinent laboratory analysis.2. Accurately assesses each patient with physical examination and diagnostic data interpretations.3. Applies therapeutics to respiratory care including:a. Medial gas therapyb. Humidity therapyc. Aerosol therapyd. Artificial airway insertion management and caree. Airway clearancef. Invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation4. Assesses reaction and results of therapeutic interventions timely.5. Participates with discharge planning and case management.6. Participates with public education activities focused on the promotion of cardiopulmonary wellness.7. Attends all mandatory safety in-services department meeting and in-services selected by manager.
