ABOUT: Assists nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure (including but not limited to polypectomy biopsies screening exams ERCP and dilations); Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of : 4-10-hour shifts per week with rotating :High School diploma or equivalent through the American Heart Association is with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech required in preferred both or either:Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program. Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) : 2 years of Endo experience is Case Endo experience is also required. We need an Endo Tech that is very experienced and can assist our Provider with high level complex cases. Agencys only submit those highly experienced Endo Techs for this position.
